تطابق زمان ها و ضمایر در زبان انگلیسی یک نگاه

یکی از موارد مهم در هنگام نگارش و یا صحبت کردن به زبان انگلیسی توجه به تطابق زمان ها و ضمایر است. هنگامی که طول جملات در هریک از مهارت های فوق افزایش پیدا کند، احتمال ایجاد خطا در این ساختارها نیز افزایش پیدا می کند.

Remember that if you're writing in the present tense, don't shift to the past tense (or vice versa) unless you have a good reason to do so. For instance, in the sentences below there is no reason to switch from the present tense. This is especially true when writing papers about literature: wherever possible, stay in the present tense.

یکی از رایج ترین اشتباهات در هنگام مکالمه زبان انگلیسی و یا در هنگام نوشتن یک مطلب، عدم مطابقت فعل با فاعل است. برای مثال به جمله زبر که به ظاهر درست به نظر می رسد نگاه کنید:
